So long, Florida.
Dear Friends,
I am just updating my life for folks who may want to know anything about me. Things are always the same, but constantly changing. Sounds like an oxymoron doesn’t it. But it is the truth.
I moved from Florida to Ohio in June of 2022 with my 3 cats, Jasmine, Beeper, and Nattie. I now live with my sister, brother-in-law, 3 large dogs 2 cats and a host of other feathered friends/fowl. The move was made to get closer to my family, take care of some personal matters and to attend to my health. Since then my health has improved, personal matters have been rectified, and I have visited my daughter, grandchildren, great granddaughter, and other relatives much more often. Being on their farm has really grounded me. How could it not, being so close to the land and so many critters and sister? For that I am extremely happy and grateful. But I miss the Ocean breeze, Palm Trees, Sandy Coquina Beach, Mother Ocean, my Spiritualist Church (CMF) and friends.
I know that I will return to sunny Florida and resume some of my projects, rekindle my friendships and stay there in time, I just do not know when that time frame is. My plans are to become a snowbird and travel back and forth from Ohio to Florida yearly with my cats accompanying me. They are a big part of my life. They have been and will for ever be part of me. Don’ get me wrong — I love dogs and until my last dog passed, a major companion of my life, I never thought I could love another pet as much. I figured that a cat was so much more independent that I would not form such an attachment to them so I would not hurt when they passed. Well I was wrong. Eight years ago when I moved to Sunny Florida with my then husband, I had 4 cats and one passed in December 31, 2021. My hopes and theory did not work. I mourned that little feline terribly. More hurt than I can say. Anyway, I am ready to return and I am searching for a place in the Sarasota, Florida area. The time will soon arrive that I can become the snowbird for my cats and myself.
While in Florida I had the great privilege to work at Wild Ginger Apothecary several days per week as a guest reader for the then owner, Nicole. I became friends with many of the staff there. I enjoyed their family and friendships with my heart. I enjoyed doing Reiki Sessions, Reading Cards and Giving Messages to people who were in search of answers and healing. I visited other communities and gave lectures and messages about Spirit to individuals there. I also attended CMF of Sarasota (Center for Metaphysical Fellowship Church). While at the church I attended many classes, received my Spiritual Healing Certificate and my Mediumship Certificate. These courses lasted from several months to 2 years. I gave messages from Spirit to church attendees, monthly psychic events, and worked in the monthly Message Service. I went to many Psychic Expos that were in Florida, gave readings there as well as readings from my home. I grew a lot. For this I am eternally grateful.
Currently I attend Psychic Expos in Ohio and give phone readings from the house. I am enjoying meeting new people, connecting with Spirit, making new friends and seeing my family. We all went through many changes since 2020!
Remember, Be Flexible. Try to enjoy the changes in our travels, detours and our adventures. We Grow, Love, Live and Learn.
